In this study, plain, twill and satin woven fabrics were produced via using both 100 % cotton, compact and conventional ring spun yarns in two different yarn counts and two different yarn twists. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of different finishing processes such as singeing, mercerization, pigment printing, reactive printing and reactive dyeing on pilling tendency of woven fabrics, produced with compact and conventional ring spun yarns.
