DETERMINING THE PRODUCT COST USING THE TRANSPORTATION METHOD IN CLOTHING PRODUCTION

Product cost is one of the most important factors in terms of both national and international competition. Therefore production managers tend to use the effective management techniques for increasing the productivity. Use of effective management techniques for clothing sector which has high competition and variable factor is a basic necessity. Transportation method is used in both production and serving sectors for determining the production planning and product cost. In this study, methodology of transportation method and its application to determine the production planning and production cost for clothing product are explained.
